There’s a few more tickets left for this Sunday’s plant swap at Plantiitas! Send this link to a friend or two!
What you should you bring to a plant swap?
- A box for your goodies or a bag. I recommend a box so the plants are free to have some space and there are no accidental tugs on leaves and what not.
- Reusable container for plant cuttings, even a few wet paper towels in said container so you can give your new plants some water on the way home if you pick up some cuttings!
- Plant care items you have extra off and want to get rid off, i.e. planters, extra leca, etc.
What plants do I bring?!
- Healthy cuttings of plants you have that have overgrown
- Rooted plants in planters you no longer want! (it’s okay to rehome plants!)
-Offsets of plants: Maybe you have a ZZ or snakeplant that is shooting out too many plants for the pot its in
-Baby plants from past propagations!
-The more you can bring the more you can trade!
Do I need to do anything beforehand?
- Please inspect your plants before you bring them! Make sure not to bring any plants with pests etc. Give them a rinse, or a spray down before hand :)
- Rehabs are okay! If you have plants that are struggling feel free to bring them to rehome, or ask us fellow plant parents and we can give you some advice.
- If you’re able to, please label each of your plants with your name! It’ll make it easy for people to find the owners of the plants they want to trade with.
No plants, no problem! Attendees will actually get a special discount off plants from Plantittas the day of the event!
Comment your wishlist plants in the comment section below!
