What a weekend..and week...

How did I survive back to back events?!

… what a weekend! I had two back to back events this past weekend. Saturday at Sherman Gardens & Library… and Sunday at Bel Canto Books at Kubo LB.

Highlights:
- Selling out of books at the Sherman Gardens Botanical Garden! (Don’t worry I had backups)
- Answering plant questions in Succulent Garden outside at Sherman Gardens (and practicing my ASMR - you had to be there)
- Doing my first ever dual Author event with Karen Napacena, Author of Midcentury Modern Style. A fellow Filipina Author also published by Gibbs Smith (my publisher!)
- Sharing jokes about my mom’s marketing tactics to the audience
- Being supported by the best of family and friends (the only way I survived and got to the things on time, ha!)

Lowlight:
- Worrying about my first rescue, Cosmo, after some dental surgery at the vet! I was anxious all weekend since I was away from him for a bit (he was taken care of!)

What’s up next?

This coming weekend I am popping up at two community markets! Come get your book & get it signed by me! Bought the book elsewhere? Bring it to one of these two events and I’ll sign it from you no matter which retailer you got it from :)

Saturday: 11/11 at Moongoat in Costa Mesa with Houseplant Nation
Sunday: 11/12 at Bamboo Club in Long Beach with Elysium Plants
